Grain of Pain

Insecurity, a specter that haunts our land,

Nigeria's heart weighed heavy by its hand.

Amidst the vibrant colors of our diverse race,

It lurks within each corner, occupying space.

From the northern plains to the southern shores,

Insecurity's presence seeps through our doors.

It spreads like wildfire, engulfing communities,

Leaving trail of fear, chaos, and shattered opportunities.

Oh, Nigeria, once a beacon of hope and strength,

Where did we go wrong? We ask at length.

In the shadows of corruption and inequality,

Insecurity thrives, mocking our unity.

A land once blessed with abundant resources,

Now plagued by bloodshed and twisted forces.

Terrorism, banditry, and kidnappings, oh so grim,

Insecurity's grip tightens, breaking spirits from within.

In the midst of darkness, hope must still reside,

For Nigeria's resilience cannot be denied.

We must rise together, hand in hand,

And quell the flames of insecurity that tarnish our land.

Let justice be the thread that weaves us tight,

Exposing those who choose to dwell in the night.

Let unity be the shield that guards our hearts,

As we face the challenges that insecurity imparts.

For every mother who weeps for her missing child,

For every farmer whose crops have been defiled,

For every student afraid to embrace their dreams,

We must stand united, tearing down insecurity's seams.

Let us heal wounds and nurture trust anew,

Working towards a brighter future, pure and true.

Insecurity may cast its shadow, but never prevail,

For Nigeria's spirit, over darkness, shall never fail.

So let us rise, Nigeria, with resilience and might,

Confronting insecurity, forging a path towards light.

In unity, we'll find the strength to mend and restore,

A nation bound by love and peace, forevermore.
