In Lagos, a pregnant woman stabs a domestic worker over a bag.
After discovering that she had violated her instructions to clean a bag at their house around Simeon Oniyimofe street in Lagos State, a yet-to-be-named woman stabbed her domestic employee, Chinasa Anemem, reportedly stabbed her.
The woman abandoned Anemem, who was profusedly at home, after committing the crime, as we learned. Anemem was writhing in pain and engaged by a yet-to-be-named neighbor, who said the woman was fond of subjecting the domestic worker to various forms of cruel treatment.
“My aunt used a knife to pierce my body because I did not wash a bag,” the domestic worker, who hails from Anambra State, said during interrogation.
The neighbor was enraged by the news, so he took out his phone and shot a video clip of Anemem describing the events surrounding the assault that made her bleed profusely at her back.
The neighbor was heard saying that the woman's husband had been accusing him of exposing his wife's conduct in the video clip that was trending on social media. “this is terribly unfortunate, it happened on May 19, 2023,” he said.
It is horrifying that some of us as parents aren't able to take care of ourselves and will now release the children that God has given us out into slavery.
“You can imagine this girl, this is not the case the first time, I am a worried neighbor.” It has happened quite often. This girl is subjected to inhumane treatment and horrific child Simeon.
“She can't go to school at times because she's unable to do some housework,” she says. This is what is happening on Adaloko, no 18 Simeon Oniyimofe street, Ojo.
"The husband of the woman who stabbed this girl and gave her a deep cut, instead of being thankful to me, threatened to deal with me." I took this evidence because of it,"
The State police public relations officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, said the woman had been arrested and transferred to the command's reformed gender unit, adding that an investigation into the case was ongoing.
He said, “The suspect has been arrested. She’s heavily pregnant and has been released to go home. She’ll be coming to the station from home.
“The case has been transferred to the rejuvenated gender unit of the command, where, in collaboration with the Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency, she’ll get adequate medical care while the investigation continues.”
